Auto update attempted to update Skype today. My computer is locked at the 'Give us a minute' screen for over 5 hours. Cannot go to Power to shutdown or restart. Tried Task Manager but it is locked behind the update screen and cannot take control there either. What Operating System (OS) are you running on your Skype? I don’t use Skype but the laptop is Win 10. Are you logged into your account on any other devices? It's a standalone. I am logged into the laptop. I am using my iPhone to chat with you. Is there anything else the Computer Expert should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you. Not that I know of.
