I received my Fantasy wireless charger. The instructions are not very good, and it does not power up with the cord that came with it. Any suggestions or should I just return this item?

I need to set up a Skype account but I don't have a Microsoft account. My Skype account is linked to a Hotmail account that I closed 3-4 years ago. I tried to change my Skype password using my phone number, but I still can't sign in. The Skype site says I need a Microsoft account, but I don't have one. How can I resolve this issue?
