Ask Toolbar has invaded my Google Chrome browser and I cannot work out how to remove it. My Operating System is Windows 7. How do I get rid of it?

I have Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium with key MCG17-296N7-RNTNW-BNTNW-2ZBDB. The software won't run and appears to try to start but fails. I have a Dell PC and am unsure if any recent updates were installed. I also have TrendMicro antivirus running, which has been fine with Malwarebytes until now. What should I do?

I am unable to send emails, though I can receive them. The error message reads 'Sending reported error (Ox800ccc78). Unable to send the message. Please verify the email address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 authentication required. Your email could not be sent.' What could be causing this issue and how can I resolve it?
