How do I open an email attachment that is in a hyperlink blue line?

I keep getting an error message that says 'Exception EOleSysError in Module CSmiley H.exe at 0003C17D Error Loading type Library/DLL' during startup. I am also having a problem with Facebook's Farmville game not loading completely. Can you help me get this straightened out?

The CD/DVD ROM drive on my Toshiba A305D has stopped working and doesn't show up in 'My Computer' or Device Manager. Any suggestions?

I recently had some upgrades installed on my computer. When I brought it home, I was told I had to install most of my programs again. I still have the plastic case that my Microsoft Office came in. When I inserted the disk, it asks for the key code. There is about three different key code type numbers on the case. Every one I tried did not work. Now I cannot even print or edit any of my word documents. Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance.

I am sick, and many of my files saved in Word and Final Draft are now black and display a Terminal file when opened. I have no application to open them. How can I fix this issue?
