I am trying to access a particular website's webinars, but it says I need to download a plug-in or have Windows Media. My PC already has Windows Media (Windows 7 Home Premium), and when I go to the Windows website, it doesn't give me the option to download Windows Media 12, which I apparently need. What should I do to resolve this issue?

I lost sound on my Acer 3802. I have tried adjusting all settings but cannot get sound through the speakers. The sound icons are visible at the bottom of the screen, and I can adjust the volume, but there is no sound from YouTube, Windows Media Player, or DVDs. The external speakers, which I use with my TV as a monitor, also do not produce sound. What could be the issue, and what steps can I take to troubleshoot and resolve this problem?
