I applied your answer, but the system boot still delays about 2-3 minutes prior to starting up. Sometimes I have to close the laptop and just wait until I see that the computer has booted up.

Hello, I need help with a Gateway NV52 laptop. When trying to connect to the internet, no matter what website I try to open, I get the error 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. When I diagnose the problem, I am getting an error stating that microsoft.com is not set up to establish a connection on port 'World Wide Web service (HTTP)' with this computer. This laptop has worked fine for a few months until yesterday. What could be causing this issue and how can it be resolved?
