I am having issues sending/receiving emails and my computer screen is now problematic after a remote tech support session. I am using Outlook on my PC and have encountered errors such as a pop-up asking for a password for Inbound.att.net and a message stating incorrect username or password for SMTP on my iPad. Additionally, I am unable to log into Yahoo with my AT&T email. What steps can be taken to resolve these issues?

I cannot receive my emails. The error message I get is 'socket error (0) this operation was successful'. The problem started when I received the same email about 19 times. My internet connection is good, and I get my mail through Mediacom, my cable provider. I get notifications that I have mail but get the error message when I try to pull up. There are no antivirus or firewall settings blocking me from receiving mail.
