I can't cut or paste at all in Microsoft Word 2010 without a shutdown. This just started happening a few months ago...it used to just happen periodically, now it's 100%. What can I do to resolve this issue?

I have Windows 7 on my computer. Whenever I download Windows updates, I can't get online the next day because my firewall is blocking access. I have to set the computer to an earlier date to resolve this. What kind of internet security am I using, and how can I disable the Windows firewall to prevent this issue?

On Friday morning in South Africa, I could not sign in to my Hotmail email address because it said my sign-on was already in use. On Saturday, the message changed to 'password incorrect.' I have only used two passwords and tried both, but received the same message. I suspect something is wrong, possibly due to updates on Thursday evening. I still cannot access my emails. Can you help me with detailed instructions as I am not very knowledgeable about computers?
