I have an A135 laptop that suddenly asked for a built-in HDD1 password this morning, which I've never set. The system was running fine last night. How do we know if the hard drive is defective if we can't access it, and what should I do about this issue?

When trying to open Outlook (Mac), it opens but flashes up an error warning explaining there has been an error, and unsaved work will be lost. This happens every time I reopen it and I can't move forward from this reoccurring loop! Please help, I have jobs to apply for...

I am showing a Code 34 error on my Communication Port (COM 3). My laptop is not recognizing any serial cables that I connect. I have a USB to 9-pin cable that it's not recognizing. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix the problem, or do I have to take it to a computer tech person?

I am running Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8. On many pages, I get a warning: 'Object error!' I try to close it and it comes back. The only way I can get free is to go to Task Manager and close the whole page. How do I correct this problem?

I have a Toshiba 593400-D 1TB USB hard drive. I'm starting to lose files. When trying to access them, folders are empty, files are missing, or I get a message asking if I want to format the disk. How do I recover lost files?
