I have old encrypted files with a .cry extension from a previous computer. I can't remember the name of the encryption program used, but it displayed a small yellow padlock icon and required a password to decrypt. The program was developed by a US University, asked for donations, and was popular about 10 years ago. It stopped updating a few years ago, but could still decrypt files if the computer date was changed. What is the name of this program, and is there a way to decrypt these files now?
