I have purchased a genuine version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and plan to perform a clean install. My current setup includes a refurbished HP Pavilion p6630f desktop with an MSI MS-7613 mainboard. The BIOS settings for SATA Controller Mode are currently set to RAID, but I am not using a RAID setup. I am considering replacing my DVD/CD ROM with a Blu-ray ROM. What changes should I make to the BIOS settings, and will AHCI mode detect both the HDD and the new Blu-ray ROM during the installation process?
