Yesterday, I was on the Gmail browser and an ad appeared. After blocking it, my computer started behaving strangely, and I received an alert that my computer was blocked with a number to call for Microsoft security. I called and spoke to someone claiming to be a certified Microsoft Tech. I couldn't verify his authenticity and hung up. Was he authentic, and what should I do about my computer's issues?
