I received a notice that my purchase (toaster) was declined because of a problem with my payment method (Amex card ). I entered a new card (Amex ). I just checked the balance on the first card and found that the amount of my purchase $52.10 was charged to that card. Can you tell me why my card was declined and then they charged that card for my purchase? Hopefully, they didn’t charge me twice.
