I have a colleague in the UK whose name appears as the sender of occasional suspicious emails to me. The emails typically contain nothing more than a link (that I refuse to click). I sometimes forward these emails to her, but she is unconcerned, because the emails 'are not actually coming from my email.' For example, the source address of the email to me may be ***@******.***, unlike her actual address, Anne Marie Mayer <*****@******.***>. Might malware be accessing her contacts list? Is it correct for her to conclude that the emails are 'not actually coming from my email'? I.e., might that sender address be spoofed?

My laptop with Windows 7 would not start and it did a factory reset. Now I can't get Norton installed and have lost everything. Norton support said I don't have Service Pack 1 on my Windows 7, which is a Microsoft issue. How can I recover my data and get Norton reinstalled?
