My computer has shut down with a Windows Security Lock-up and the message says that my IP Address was used without my permission and my computer was locked down to prevent illegal activity. A Window Support Number (1-*-*-) is given and I am asked to call that number immediately. I am told not to shut down or restart my computer, which could add to data loss or further security activity. Is this message a scam?

I have service with AT&T and have not been getting my emails. My email is ***@******.***. I have not used Yahoo in years. When I go into the Yahoo app, it says it is under another account.
