My entire Activision account got reset, and I was at prestige 2 level 97 when it happened. The game suddenly showed an 'error,' forced me to exit to the desktop, and when I relaunched the game, my account was reset to level 1. I'm using Windows 10, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but it didn't help. What should I do to recover my account or get a refund?

I think I've been scammed by a broker. I contacted a company called Global Payback, and they asked for $14,700 upfront to recover my $202,000. Is this real or another scam? My trading account is still active with $134,000, and I don't want to scare them off by asking for the money upfront.
