My laptop hangs at 10% during the chkdsk /r process after a proper shutdown and automatic reboot. I followed the instructions to press the Windows key with the X key, run sfc /scannow, and then type in chkdsk /r, agreeing to the message and restarting. However, it hangs at 10% during the disk check and repair process. I have to shut down and use a rollback program to restore, but it doesn't fix the issue. Why is it hanging at 10% and are there any other suggestions?
