My PC has been experiencing issues such as unwanted pop-ups for Trend Micro security, a messed-up address bar that shows numbers instead of letters, and persistent Photo Gallery pop-ups. Microsoft attempted to fix these issues but was unsuccessful. What can I do to resolve these problems?

I get an error message 'Your web browser has blocked this site from using ActiveX control in an unsafe manner' on all sites. It does not happen on Firefox. I also get a message about scripts and asking if I want to debug the site. This has only started in the last 3 days. It never happened before.

I have a new computer running Windows 7 Professional with an i7 quad-core processor and 8 GB of RAM. I installed an M-Audio 2496 card to run Hauptwerk, a virtual MIDI organ. However, I am not receiving any MIDI signal from my Yamaha PSR-540 keyboard's MIDI out. I know the MIDI cable is good because it works with another MIDI piano. How can I resolve this issue on Windows 7?
