My Toshiba L500 laptop's battery went flat during a Windows update installation, and now it won't boot. I don't have a backup disc, and an error says a valid backup location can't be found. How can I fix the startup problem without losing my data?

In the past, my Adobe Reader would read out loud when I clicked on 'View,' but now my only option is the hand to move within the documents. I am a student with sight impairment and need to hear my books. I have done a complete virus scan and fix. What should I do to get Adobe Reader to read out loud again?

I have not been on Avon for quite awhile as I've been ill. I thought I'd never forget my account number, but I guess I have. It's something like '205070 or just 20570, but it doesn't appear to be that. What can I do to get my number? My password is XXXXX XXXXX with maybe a '1' on the end. Why does my Galaxy Tab 8.9 indicate a low battery even when it shows 100% and is plugged in? It also suddenly turns off without warning and sometimes won't stay on, even with the charger attached.
