My wife and I have high-speed wireless at our home in Calgary, but we are currently in rural Saskatchewan using Telus dial-up. My wife has been trying for hours to download her incoming emails, which show 26 messages. She can download messages 1 to 5, but message 6 stalls and eventually disconnects. This results in her receiving multiple copies of messages 1 to 5. Is there a way to bypass or eliminate message 6 to allow her to download the remaining messages? She cannot send emails until all downloads are complete.

My Acer monitor (x193w) was working fine one day, but the next day it shows no signal. I don't have another monitor to test with, so I can't tell if the issue is with the monitor or the PC. What should I do to diagnose the problem?

I have Windows 7 and I need Windows XP for employment reasons. What is the simplest and cheapest way to convert? I am not very computer savvy, but I would hire a computer geek if need be.
