Persons unknown installed a virus on my computer while I was using it. It locked with a message to call a phone number shown on the screen, asking me to pay $249.95 by credit card to remove the virus and free up my computer. I have Stop Sign anti-virus protection but it did not catch this threat. What can I do at this point? Can you provide help?

My passport is inaccessible on Windows 10, but I can access it in safe mode. I recently installed Windows 10 on Western Digital internal and external hard drives, and I never had this problem with Windows 7. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

I have tried to find a plug-in for my sound and game controller, and I have tried uninstalling then restarting, but it hasn't worked. My CD/DVD drive also does not work. When I downloaded Windows 10, it was not picked up for some reason. What can I do to resolve these issues?

I am running Windows 7 on both my Desktop and laptop and do not want to upgrade to Windows 10. My laptop automatically began installing Windows 10 and keeps trying to reinstall it. How do I prevent this from continuing to occur while maintaining important Windows automatic updates?
