Pinnacle 16 Plus refuses to import any video (any format) from my computer or video camera (AVCHD format) using the Studio Importer, showing them as locked or reporting an error: 'Library Could not import file. Please check the event log in the control panel for details.'

I signed up for Google Chrome today and found it too complicated for my needs. I am 82 years old and would like to revert back to using Internet Explorer. I also have a Gmail account. How can I switch back to Internet Explorer and ensure that I keep my current settings and account information?

I was contacted by PES*UNIQUETECHSUPPORT CHINA who fixed my blocked computer for $300, including one year of support. They claim to use Microsoft for protection. Is this company legitimate and associated with Microsoft? My computer is an HP with Windows 10, and I have installed any available updates.

Windows 7 update has been searching for updates for 7 hours. Is this unusual? My computer is an Acer Veriton, and it hasn't been updated since I got it.
