There was a thunderstorm last night but nothing severe. I have 3 other computers and they power up fine. We did lose power last night as I had to reset our clocks this morning. My zd8000 was in hibernation mode last night and this morning I hit the power button and nothing happened. I disconnected the power from my laptop to see if it would run off the battery and still nothing. I have my laptop typically linked to a HP docking station and use it mostly as a desktop. What could be the issue and what should I do?

I checked the control panel and the weather channel program is not on the list. I also used the search function, but nothing was found.

A phony government agency called American Standard Financial called me, claiming I was eligible for a $4,500 government grant and needed to pay a $350 service paperwork fee. This is obviously a scam. The number they called from goes to a generic voicemail and is unlisted. I believe they are based in San Ardo, California. How do I get a hard address or telephone number for these people so I can visit them?
