I just bought a C675D-S7109 and need to install older software, AutoCAD 2004, which is not compatible with Windows 7. I upgraded to Professional to use the virtual machine for XP mode. When trying to install the software in XP mode, I get the error message: "only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed." The CD drive works fine for other programs in Win7. How can I resolve this issue?

I have viruses that only Symantec detects, not AVG, Malwarebytes, or Spyware. I was told that Symantec 'chops' up viruses and only Symantec can remove them. Does this sound familiar and can you help me?
