With my Maxtor 3200 Personal Storage drive and using Retrospect 7.5 to back up my 38 GB Sony VGN UX 490N, I ran out of space. A note appeared stating that grooming took place but did not reduce the file size enough. I had one percent free space left. What should I do?

I am using Firefox on my Mac and today Prime Spot Info suddenly became my default browser. I have tried changing it back to Bing and resetting Firefox to default settings, but neither worked. What else can I do to resolve this issue?
