My 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Jordie, has trouble walking, especially in his hind legs, and is completely lame. He had ACL surgery in February 2020 but never fully recovered. He has been on various anti-inflammatories and pain medications, had laser therapy, but now the vets are not providing clear answers. I do not want to subject him to more surgery and am looking for ways to improve his quality of life. What can be done to help Jordie?

My dog, Tesla, a 4-year-old female Akita weighing about 55 pounds, has had a persistent cough for 2 months, accompanied by bad breath and occasional white sputum. She was prescribed doxycycline by the vet, but it didn't help. Heartworm was negative. I also have two other dogs who occasionally cough. What should I do next?
