Are those do not eat silica packets poisonous if my dog opens and eats the inside beads? My dog vomited and had diarrhea this morning, and we found a chewed up silica packet at home. The ER vet treated him for colitis and prescribed sucralfate and metronidazole. Should we change his treatment based on the silica packet ingestion?

My dog, Molly, a 9-year-old boxer/pitbull mix, has welps and I'm giving her diphenhydramine, but they seem worse today. She must have been stung by something. Where was the dog stung? Is everything okay with her breathing and heart rate? What else should the vet know?

My dog Trixie ate one and a half grapes 3 hours ago. She weighs 12 lbs and is acting normally, but we noticed a few spots on our bed that could be blood or diarrhea. We are having her checked out by an emergency vet. Is inducing vomiting necessary, and are there any recommended sources for a comprehensive list of toxic foods for dogs?

My 8-month-old Coton du Tulear dog, Mya, has been coughing every 20 minutes or so for the past few hours. She is acting normally otherwise, but I'm concerned about her possibly choking while we sleep. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

My puppy Ollie's paw pad is really red. I just noticed it and he doesn't seem to be licking or rubbing the affected area. He's a rescue and about 10-11 weeks old. What could be causing this redness and what should I do?
