Becca, a dog, is at Woodland Hills Advanced Critical Care and Specialty Service. Her ultrasound of kidneys looks like that of a 15-year-old dog with chronic renal disease (RBC is 17). She is on IV fluids, Cerenia, Pepcid AC, Phosphate Binder, Epakitin, Aranesp injection (1x a week), Iron dextran, and B-12. Blood tests are done weekly. Her doctor, Dr. Elana Hadar, estimates she may have 5-6 months with luck. Is there anything else that can be added to her treatment? Thank you for calming me, Sandy.

My 7-week-old puppy weighs 7.5 pounds and was given Revolution for a 10 to 20 lbs dog. He has been occasionally vomiting and had some diarrhea since we got him. He is still eating and drinking. Should I be concerned, and what should I do?

Our dog's temperature is at 103.6°F, he is acting off, and has a minor limp on one leg. We just picked him up from boarding this morning. There are no visible injuries, but he is favoring his right front leg. What should we do?

My dog ate rat poisoning, but we don't know the type as it was transferred to a ziplock bag without the original packaging. It was shaped like a small log with ridges, and my dog ate it about 45 minutes ago. My dog is not acting upset or sick, and he is a healthy 85 lb lab mix. Should I try to feed him something to absorb it, and is there anything else the Veterinarian should know?

My 9-year-old lab mix, Bear, started vomiting yesterday and is trying to poop but only producing a tiny amount with blood in it. He didn't eat anything unusual. What should I do?
