Last night, the right side of my dog's face was swollen and she was drooling. This morning, the swelling has gone down but her throat looks different; she is still swollen somewhat and the area feels different than the left side. My vet isn't open until Tuesday. What should I do?

My dog ate something she shouldn't have and is experiencing soreness, shaking, and difficulty sitting. She has not vomited or had diarrhea, but she is lethargic and her tail is curled under. Should I give her pain relief, wait to see if the item passes, or take her to the vet immediately?

I have a 6 lb Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a lower spine injury. Occasionally, she throws her back out and is in pain, panting and walking back and forth for hours. She was given a pain reliever by the vet, but it did nothing. Can she take some form of muscle relaxer?

My 73 lb. Amstaff Terrier, Patches, just yelped and then limped in the room favoring her front paw. We have checked both front claws and feet with a flashlight and there is no injury or object. We placed her on the bed so she could rest. I was unsure whether to give her an aspirin as she tends to get queasy at times. We have to wait until Monday to take her to the Vet. What do you suggest?
