The dog is intact and recently came out of estrus. The owner has been managing the condition with probiotics, keeping the vulva area clean, and using a urinary preventative. They also have an antibiotic dog bath and spray on the way. The owner is considering douching with sterile vinegar and water if needed and wants to know if there are any other steps they should take in the meantime, given their limited access to veterinary care.
