My dog seems to have a cold. His breathing sounds a little congested and he has blown some snot bubbles out his nose. He has not lost his appetite but seems lethargic. He is a 7-year-old miniature schnauzer. Is there anything I can do at home to help him with the symptoms? I have some Keflex from a skin irritation he had a few months back. Will this help him? Can I give him human medicine?

My lab mix keeps getting ringworm, especially on his belly. He's a house dog, clean, no fleas but does love the pool and his kiddy pool.
