Dr. Loretta, I have a question about my dog Blitz. When she was a puppy, she had a few seizures, and since then, she has developed a habit of coming to me or others in the house to have her lower back rubbed and scratched. While doing this, she nibbles on me as if she's trying to remove fleas, but she has none. I'm wondering if this behavior is normal and if it could be habit-forming. Additionally, I use Sergeant's Skip-Flea & Tick with oatmeal shampoo for her baths. Is this shampoo alright, and how often should I bathe her to avoid dry skin?

I have an 11-month-old miniature Snowzier that ate two 1-inch clusters of dark chocolate with nuts about 1 hour ago. She is acting hyper but there seems to be no other symptoms at this time. What should I do?

My 9-year-old mixed lab dog has raised, flakey, itchy lumps on her mid to lower back, and some hair loss when brushed. She is currently on flea medication and there are no fleas. What could be causing this, and what steps should I take to address it?

My dog, Annie, is experiencing episodes where she falls to the right, can't hold her balance, and is unable to get up. She also has head tremors. This type of episode has happened before a long while back. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog has been lethargic this afternoon, still drinks water and goes outside, ate half a milk bone but is very sleepy, her eyes look bloodshot, and her breathing is heavier than usual. Should I be worried?

My dog, a 5-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix, had an episode where she couldn't balance and seemed to have trouble with one side of her body for about 3 minutes. She has since recovered and is eating, walking, and running normally. What should I do apart from keeping a close eye on her?
