Good afternoon. I have a 12-year-old Chihuahua with heart problems. Her stool has become loose over the last couple of days and today it was a bit bloody. She is on medications including Prednisone, Pimobendan, Enalapril, Spironolactone, Fursemide, and Hydrone/Homatropine. She still has plenty of energy and her appetite is good. Should I stop any medication or food?

Hello, my friend's 13-year-old dog is underweight despite laying around all day. She mainly eats human food like chicken, hamburger, rice, and gravy, but not dog food. She has growths on her leg and belly, hemorrhoids, and difficulty walking. When people come over, she becomes more energetic. The vet suggested a year ago that testing could be risky due to her age. What could be causing these issues and what are the signs that it might be time to consider euthanasia?

We have a 1.5-year-old Llewellyn setter named Indy. She keeps licking her back two teats a lot, and they look a little swollen compared to the others. She was just at the vet for her shots, and they didn’t seem concerned, but she wasn’t licking as much as she does now. She had her last heat cycle in August and hasn’t been spayed. What could be causing this issue, and what should we do?

Our 7-year-old dog, Lucky, has been coughing/gagging frequently for a few months. We've tried antibiotics and steroids, but they haven't worked. An x-ray, blood work, and urinary analysis showed no abnormalities. His cough has worsened, but his mood and appetite remain unchanged. What could be causing his cough, and what should we do next?
