Hello! My dog has an infected pad. I noticed he was limping about a week ago and saw that his pad was cracked, so I started treating it with Bag Balm, but it's become much more sensitive and painful to him, and he's hesitant to walk on it. I can't get him in to see a vet. Are there things I can do to treat it at home?

My 14-year-old Border Collie got into chocolate last night. She had diarrhea and was shaky and agitated. My vet recommended giving her 1 mg of Xanax to combat the toxic effects of the chocolate. She weighs 70 lbs and is now very wobbly when she tries to stand, and her left eye is rolled back, which I've never seen before. What else can I do besides giving her water, and should I give her more Xanax if she's agitated again later?
