Hello Pearl, my name is *. I have an eight-year-old female Pugalier who does not produce tears, a condition I think is called KCS (Keratoconjunctivitis sicca). She was diagnosed about four years ago. She is not taking any oral medications but is administered Tricentennial and Optimmune ointment and liquid tears. I am confused about the order in which to apply these ointments. Can you provide guidance?

My dog, Koda, a 2-year-old pitbull terrier mix, has started vomiting, having watery stool with bile, and bloody urine. He is still eating but has been more lethargic and whiny, and has been urinating more frequently than normal. He recently switched from Purina One high protein (chicken) to Rachel Ray Nutrish (beef) due to family recommendations. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My dog, Delilah, a 2-year-old 40-pound dog, ate an entire oxygen absorber pack from a pepperoni package about 10-15 minutes ago. She has not vomited yet and is currently on an antibiotic for kennel cough. What should I do?

I just adopted a 10-year-old female pitbull named Sophie from a rescue organization. Her bloodwork in Texas showed a low T4 level of 0.9 (normal range is 1-4). My local vet in New York wants to wait a month to retest the T4 due to the dog's stress from the trip. Should I insist on the T4 test being done now?

My 5-month-old Maltese, Roman, is panting heavily and yelping unless I hold him. This is completely out of character for him. He had no cough, and the symptoms started suddenly about 30 minutes ago. Is there anything I should be concerned about, and are there any emergency vet services available in the Fort Washington/Blue Bell area?
