Hi, I have a 14-year-old dachshund named Sammy. He has been dealing with what we think is an upper respiratory infection and just finished a round of antibiotics with some improvement. However, he has also started showing shallow breathing, tremors, and spontaneous flatulence, which are unusual for him. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My teacup Chihuahua, Lulu, started vomiting chunks and foamy, yellowish liquid after Thanksgiving, stopped eating and drinking, and now has watery, reddish-brown diarrhea. She has been cold and shaky. What could be wrong and what can I do to help her?

My Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, is experiencing symptoms that seem like HGE (Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis). She is pooping jelly-like stuff and I live in a very rural area where the nearest 24-hour vet is an hour and a half away. Will she make it until the morning when the local vet opens?

My 90 lb 2 year old dog is not doing well. Last night he was up sick from 2:00-5:00, and tonight he is restless again. He hasn’t vomited or had diarrhea yet, but is acting like he may be. He was salivating heavily and ate less than usual. Is this an emergency? Can I wait until the morning for our vet to open? What could it be?
