I have a rescue dog named Rozie, a terrier mix estimated to be 2-3 years old, who is coughing up blood. She was diagnosed with heartworm and supposedly treated using the 'slow kill' method. She receives Heartguard and Advantage Multi every 2 weeks. She has a croupy cough and has had mucousy, slimy diarrhea, but no vomiting or blood in her stool. What could be causing her symptoms, and what can I do given my financial constraints?
