Our 3-year-old Chihuahua drank an entire drink containing vodka and orange juice about 2 hours ago. She is acting intoxicated and has been sick. Do we need to take her in for medical treatment or will this wear off like it does with humans? The quantity was one drink with approximately 1 shot (ounce) of vodka mixed with about 4 shots of orange juice, the rest was watered down with ice. The puppy drank the entire drink as the ice melted. My wife is very worried, and our puppy (Lola) seems okay, but we want to ensure there is nothing toxic for this type of puppy and alcohol (vodka).
