I gave my pregnant dog Simparica Trio about 2 days before breeding, and then 3 weeks ago, I gave her Quad Dewormer, which was thought to be safe but contained febantel, not recommended for pregnant dogs. Today is her approximate due date, and I have pyrantel on hand for the puppies when they are 2 weeks old. Should I give my bitch pyrantel today, or wait until 2 weeks after delivery? Additionally, I am concerned about potential developmental issues due to the two wormers I gave her. What are the risks associated with Simparica Trio and Quad Dewormer during pregnancy?
