I accidentally gave my Akita Atopica one day early. Should I resume the Atopica on the 5th day to get back to the proper 4-day schedule, and is it okay to give the prednisolone for two days in a row to get back to the correct schedule?

My dog was stung by something, causing his eye to swell. I gave him 75mg of Benadryl around 7pm, but the swelling has continued. He's acting fine otherwise. Can I give him 20mg of prednisone too? He weighs 72lbs.
