My pit bull has had a hard lump the size of a quarter under her skin for several months, possibly a year. This morning, it was the size of a small egg, but by evening, it had almost disappeared. The lump does not seem to hurt her and is not a fatty tissue tumor. What could this lump be, and what should I do?

My 20-month-old Dutch Shepherd, who has been in excellent health and behaving normally, had an accident in his crate early this morning. He was walking with unusually short steps with his rear legs and shivering, but the shivering has stopped. He has had two bowel movements of diarrhea in the last two hours and is resting quietly now. He ate last evening as usual and drank some water this morning. He does not wince or cry if touched anywhere or pushed on his abdomen, back, or rear legs. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My dog has had trouble swallowing for a couple of weeks, followed by vomiting, ataxia, and difficulty walking. The vet suspects a brain tumor, but could symptoms develop that quickly? Are there other potential causes, such as toxicity or liver issues?

My 11-year-old male standard poodle has had five seizures within the last 4 hours, each lasting less than 20 seconds. He has a prescription for Fina Barb (Phenobarbital) but does not take it daily, only post-seizure. Should I take him to the emergency vet?

My dog was given subcutaneous fluids today and still has lumps from the fluids. He seems sluggish and very sensitive when I touch the lumpy areas. Can there be any serious complications from the administering of subcutaneous fluids? Is his sensitivity to touching the lumpy areas a cause for concern?
