My 8-year-old German shepherd had a bilateral TECA surgery two weeks ago and is recovering well, but shows no reaction to sound. Should I expect some return of hearing by now, or is it possible that an auditory nerve was damaged during the surgery?

His stool this morning contained another piece of the outer part of a pine cone. What should I do to help him recover and is a vet visit necessary?

We have two wiener dogs, both of whom have been sneezing with mucus. One of them, Simon, often acts like he can't breathe and snorts frequently. This has been going on for about 6 or 7 months. What could be causing this and what can we do to help them?

My dog has been hacking and acting like he wants to vomit for several hours. He vomited a small amount of red mucus and earlier today, a larger amount of white and green mucousy stuff. He ate his dinner fine and has not vomited it up. My other dog has attacked him at least twice today, leaving dried blood on his face. He is an 11-year-old with arthritis, on carprofen and tramadol. He is vaccinated for kennel cough. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
