I found what looks like tapeworms in my recently adopted 12-week-old puppy's stool. Should I call the emergency vet or wait for the office to open in a few hours? The puppy, Riri, is playful and has no signs of vomiting or blood in her stool. She was recently vaccinated and dewormed, but I noticed the worms in her stool this morning. What should I do?

My dog ate a toad and showed signs of poisoning, including foaming at the mouth and shaking her head, but these symptoms have cleared in the last 15 minutes. Should I still take her to the emergency vet?

I have a month-old puppy that got stuck under a reclining chair and is bleeding from its nose. It's still whining and breathing but seems to be in pain. There is no 24-hour emergency vet nearby. How can I help the puppy?

My 10-month-old lab has a raw, red, swollen, and bleeding paw. He can't walk on it, is laying down, and doesn't want to eat. He seems to be in pain and can't get up. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Thunder, accidentally received a double dose of his anti-seizure medication (Keppra XR 750 mg tabs). He is supposed to take 3 pills twice a day, but he took an extra dose at 7:30 pm after his regular dose at 7 pm. He is 115 lbs and has been on this medication for over a year. What should I do, and should I adjust his morning dose?
