I have 2 lab mixes, Magic and Brody, both 3.5 years old, who are experiencing ear issues including headshaking, redness, and black/red gunk. The symptoms have worsened over the last week, possibly due to allergies after moving to a new state. They were also having redness around their paws, which improved with Apoquel, but their ear issues are getting worse. What should I do until I can get them to a vet?

The ear issues your dogs are experiencing are likely a symptom of a more general allergic dermatitis...

My dog has been sneezing a lot, progressively sneezing more and getting sniffly, with no other symptoms besides discharge only when he's sleeping. He has been eating and drinking normally, and no other behaviors have changed. The congestion started less than a week ago but more than 3 days. He just turned 1 year old and had a sterilization surgery on the 15th. He has been wearing a cone since the surgery. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My daughter found a puppy abandoned in a garage and put it in the car to bring it home. There was a bag of grapes in the car and the puppy ate them, probably about 25 or so. The puppy weighs about 20 pounds and has not thrown up since eating the grapes. What should we do?

My dog had puppies 6 weeks ago and is now losing her hair and chewing sores into herself. There are no signs of fleas, and she is on K-9 Advantix II. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

My dog, Beau, has a rash on his upper chest that spreads down onto his left leg. He keeps licking it, and he hasn't had any shots. What can be done to treat the rash, and is there a connection between his not being fixed and his tendency to bite people when their back is turned?

My dog, Scarlett, a 6-year-old pitbull, was acting strange this morning with squinty eyes, wobbly movements, and vomiting sandy-looking material. She didn't go to the grass to pee and just stood there. She whimpered while walking and her head remains wobbly. She was normal last night, eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom. What could have happened?
