I have 4 little dogs. One of them climbed a shelf and got a hold of a small bottle of Vetmedin (pimobendan) containing 4 - 1.25 mg chewable tabs cut in half, totaling 5 mg. I don't know which dog ate them or if more than one did. The dogs range in weight from 9lbs, 11lbs, 12lbs, and 22lbs. None of the dogs have a heart condition and none are acting differently. I am 2 hours away from the nearest vet. The pills were ingested at least 45 minutes to 1.5 hours ago. Conan, one of the dogs, has a history of high liver values. What should I do?

My 13-week-old Shih Tzu, Quinn, has several lung contusions after a fall. Her gums are pale, and she is breathing rapidly but staying still. The vet said there is no bleeding, but it's a waiting game. Could this kill her, and what should I do to help her recover?

My dog, Peanut, a 5-year-old (in human years) dog weighing approximately 30lbs, ate a piece of chocolate banana bread measuring about 2”x4”x3”. We gave him 1 1/2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting, but he hasn't vomited yet. How much chocolate can a 30lb dog safely eat, and what should we do next?
