My Cavalier King Charles dog, Mango, suddenly developed a high fever, paralysis, severe pain, spasms, and vomiting blood over the course of four days. Despite veterinary treatment, he passed away. My 11-year-old lab mix, Penny, is having a reaction to something. She is prone to yeast infections and has red blotches on her stomach from licking, and her ear looks like a typical yeast infection. I've been giving her a different treat which may have triggered it. Could I give her Amoxicillin? I have treated her ear with the medication given by her vet. She also has a few fatty cysts and a little arthritis.
