I have a 10-year-old female boxer named Riley who has been scraping the nails on her left rear paw. She shows no changes in appetite, mood, or energy, and the issue seems to improve with rest. The vet initially thought it was a pinched nerve and prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs. I'm concerned it could be degenerative myelopathy, as it doesn't seem to improve with rest. What could be causing this, and what steps should I take to manage it?

My 6-month-old West Highland Terrier, weighing 8.20kg (about 18 pounds), accidentally ate one square (1oz) of milk chocolate. Should I be worried and take him to the vet?

One of my dogs ingested 29 of 40mg omeprazole tablets. Both dogs weigh over 100 lbs. Should I induce vomiting, and what are the potential side effects of this overdose?

We have a 7-year-old male boxer named Chance who suddenly won't put any weight on his right rear leg, his toes are curled on that paw, and he holds the leg high. He also seems to be craving water and has had trouble controlling his bladder in the last 2 days. Chance has bad food allergies and is on a grain-free diet with no treats, taking Apoquel once a day. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

My dog, Vinnie, a chihuahua mix, has a lump on his leg that he keeps licking. It doesn't hurt him when I touch it. What could this lump be and what should I do to treat it?

Can my stage 3 CKF dog have cubed steak, and is it okay to mix her prescription kidney diet with boiled chicken breast or hamburger to encourage her to eat?
