I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd who recently experienced sudden onset vestibular disease symptoms. She has improved by about 50%, but the vet suspects a spleen tumor that may have metastasized to her brain. All bloodwork is normal, and she is eating but only certain foods. Is it possible that this is just 'old dog vestibular'? Why has her appetite changed, and will it improve? Should we still proceed with the ultrasound despite her improvement?

My Cavalier spaniel, Zelda, ate a 3-4 inch pork rib bone whole about 5 minutes ago. She weighs about 25 pounds and is 13 months old. She seems fine and has not shown any distress. What should I do at home to help her pass the bone safely?

My dog, Diesel, a 10-year-old male, has a history of seizures and is on phenobarbital. This morning, I noticed blood in his urine and he is urinating frequently in small amounts every 5-10 minutes.
