What can I give my dog to help ease the pain? My dog, Babygirl, was recently diagnosed with open pyometra and is currently in heat, which has triggered the condition again. She is vomiting, unable to keep water down, losing weight, and experiencing discomfort with slime coming from her vaginal area. She is panting, whining, and unable to get comfortable due to the pain. She is not on any medications and will be 8 years old (56 in dog years) this month.
