I have a 2.5-year-old female Chinese hamster named Thea who was bleeding from her vulva and was put on antibiotics. Now she is extremely swollen at her abdomen, eating much less, and has matted fur around her vulva. The bleeding has stopped, and she is still active but not showing signs of pain. What could be causing her symptoms, and how should I manage her condition given that I cannot afford surgery?
